The only good way to make amiibo content is for that content to still be unlockable without amiibo, thus every single amiibo compatible game does it badly except Pokken Tournament.

That... that makes sense. I'll let the mods know that the Einsam_Delphin account got hacked.

You aren't fooling anyone, I always make sense.

Wii U Games that use amiibo well:

I don't disagree, but I have a minor addition.

Most of the newer Amiibo releases are basically pallete swaps right? Every single Mario Amiibo allows for the same funtionality in all games, right? Woolly Yoshi and normal yoshi are still functionally the same. Where they stepped over the line is that 30 year anniversary Mario that doesn't have parity with the other Marios. Until that they didn't 'force' you into buying the same character again at least.

I have one of those. Aside from Mario Maker, I'm pretty sure it works like any other Mario amiibo on the other games.

Yeah, but my point was that other Marios don't work the same in Mario Maker. They locked an additional function behind a new figurine of the same character, wich they hadn't previously done.

I kinda agree. What you say it's an "eh" use of amiibos, I don't mind a lot about them. Except if that StarFox mode turns out to be true, I'll put it right with the worse amiibo use. I don't care a lot about a hardcore experience in Zelda, but in Star Fox, which is a game based on replayability and challenge, it's very important to me.

I think games like MP10 and the AC Amiibo Festival should make the game itself much cheaper.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

As long as amiibo unlock something irrelevant or something that can be unlocked by playing the game then I'm ok. The only game that will make good use of amiibos is the skylanders version of nintendo.

bump Splatoon up. one amiibo unlocks more singleplayer content, a new weapon, arcade game, and gear. none of it is even necessary to advance in the game anyways, so really its just a big bonus
