Damn, this reminds me so much of my work!

Every single day, when I come home and press the power button on my PC, take my wireless Xbox One controller and play on my 55 inch 4K TV on the couch.

And again while that's great and all many consumers may feel, I already have a PC I really do not need another!

Yes again they are selling themselves short on not using such a device if they were looking for a new PC that is, but again Many may feel since they work with a PC everyday, I want to unwind and not think about work, while trying to unwind. That Windows OS logo would be like a cobstant reminder to them that there is a PC under that TV.

Many consumers it seems want something different instead of a PC under their TV.

And again that may be good for you to do that, and its very clear you enjoy that..and that's evident.. What I am simply pointing out despite your drive to do such the majority of consumers have no desire to do so.

Again if they did , PC would have replaced game consoles years ago in the living room as the main entertainment compute platform.

Instead its console's, not the PC, Media center PC, an small formfactor mini itx, pico itx..etc

If they have no drive to look into it or care to do such , that's not going to help with Adoption rates to replace Game Consoles and Nintendo & Sony I doubt want that.. Because a Media center PC, mini itx , Pico itx , HPC what ever is not their platform..game console's are..not a PC.

Well it looks that's gonna happen. Console sales have dropped 250% since 2009. PC Gaming is skyrocketing and so is mobile gaming. The new and dangerous kid on the block is game streaming, which is propably be the future of gaming.

Anyways, this thread has turned into a generic PC vs consoles discussion. 

That's always what will happen when gamers claim that Console companies are going to start to support PC over their own platforms Eco system.

And again as I pointed out..The console market is not about in support of the "open platform" that is PC, because the [PC] is not the main platform for the box to go under the TV!

Again Nintendo & Sony are "game console companies" 

Microsoft is a PC platform company.

Again you are trying to claim that game console companies ie:  Sony and Nintendo 

Will have to or Need to support PC including their own platform..which , no they do not..spending money off of their living room console in order to support a "PC" store than just spend that money on their own living room console would be a waste to not spend on PC store also..and Nintendo and Sony seem to disagree. With that because 1st party Living room console exclusives to their own game console are not being ported over to PC's

say they do in fact make a Playstation PC store for arguments sake..I want to see what you think Sony would release on there ;what Apps & please list some playstation Games Sony would release on the "playstation PC store" while your at it how about Nintendo also for a "Nintendo PC store"

Not to mention Sony *ISN'T* a console company, Sony is a entertainment company. They make smartphones, TV's, laptops etc.

The only real console company left is Nintendo!

If So why not Apple or Google do that Also? Hmm, Amazon..there is a reason they don't its called a Eco system..Playstation is Sony's entertainment Eco system and for the past 20/years they have not ported their games to PC from the ones they make for living room consoles. Now with profits from Mobile they would have less reasons , because they do not make PC's , they do not have a PC platform developers there making PC games any more so why would they port their console games over to PC? The way many act is those games are not that in demand anyway..so which little few they do have they would not port anyway.

Playstation is a Game Console company..its a separate whole owned Subsidiary of Sony..

Nintendo is a game console company

Sony owns a game console company that company is "playstation" its a subsidiary conglomerate..

Unlike both Nintendo & Sony

Microsoft's owns a :

"division" that makes games and hardware  by Microsoft called Xbox.

And again PC is not in the console market for Sony or Nintendo , it is for Microsoft though.

And why spend the money when Home brew just make Emulators for console games to run on PC anyway?

Still don't understand how that stops Sony for spending 100.000$ or less on developing a PC port, and earning 10-100 millions on it.
