Love that gif of Nathan

Op- im not sure because QB must havr had a huge budget and it took 3 years to make the fame.

You know that they changed main-character, probably added in as they got a new cast for the show, so it couldn't have taken them that long, since it wasn't that long ago that they did. The facial animation in Quantum break isn't good.. there is live-gameplay that last for 50 min on Youtube that is fairly new. If any doubt, watch it

Ive personally played QB and the facial animations are unbelievable. The question of the Op is more because media can't stop praising the animation and facial animation. Also the voice acting is getting huge praise to.

I don't care who played it, i have seen it with my own eyes just 2 days ago, The facial animation doesn't change just because you played it and not someone else.
I didn't find that amazing as you and a few other's do, it's not the new standard of facial animation.. It looks way to much like plastic and their emotions feels plastic.. It's still good but come on.. Over-exeggerating thing is why people get dissapointed when they finally see it for themselves.

Don't hype things to a level that it just can't back up.

Nothing has beaten L.A. Noire yet.

Not quite...

The problem I have with those ''emotion'' animation is exactly the same with the jumping / movement animations from Uncharted 1 - 3. On a technical level, yes, they are bloody impressive with all the hundreds maybe even thousands of individual joints that are being animated, but that does not mean it is realistic. The way he arches his back, flail his arms around while in the air, its just not realistic at all, looks very goofy to me. Just like those face movements in that gif.

QB might not mush as many pixels etc, but the expressions of faces are unmatched.

This is the second thread i've seen you stealth bashing UC4, it's very clear that you have a biased against it and that is completely fine.

This is the second time i actually went back to one of the recent gameplay releases, well... It's just you being biased..
The game isn't that good looking, the hair looks like it was made of plastic, the skin looks like it were made of plastic, as if it were intentionally Art-style.
The emotions isn't that good either..

You know when you make a jump, people flail their arms to create a better static-jump right? I should know, i have been climbing, trialing and all sort of extreme sport in my life..  The worst nit-picking i've seen.. Sorry.. It's like reading a meme about some shit

Well Naughty dog always have been the master of animation in games. But considering they are both exclusive  (with one being console exclusive) I don't think we will ever get a definitive answer. We will get a whole lot of bashing, like Uncharted jumping animation being bad due to arms that move in mid air while jumping like most people do when climbing.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

The word yet has never been more appropriate;)

What?I don't think Quantum break is so good, the graphics are better than the facial animations,I'm not impressed, games on last gen has way better animations, like L.A. Noire,Beyond two Souls and the Last of Us,not even close to Uncharted 4.

Alright bro. No need to get offensive. If you don't agree with the media previews that's fine. No ones overexagerating. Quantum is getting high praise for its storytelling emotion. Namely character emotion. Its only a videogame bud. Its good that tech gets better and pushes forward. Or am I missing something here.

One of the articles in the op mention L.A Noire. He said Quantum Break takes it to the next level.
