Lenght won't be a problem if the game is quality and game+tv-show delivers a great experience. Replay value + arcade scoremode is also welcome.

This. Length is only an issue if there isn't a reason to go back and play the game. So if QB delivers on the gameplay front, who cares.

So now the length of a game is irrelevant?

Cool.

It's not irrelevant ffs.. 5 minutes would be unacceptable for example 😁

Apparently, opinions changed quickly it seems.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I mentioned this in another thread. Length is absolutely important because the "cutscenes" have to be downloaded or streams.

If every playthrough is 7.5 gigs then multiple playthroughs will run up against subpar connection, and datacaps.

Even if I wanted to play this game 10 times, I'm not exactly excited to download 75 gigs when I went physical in the first place.

Exactly, the "show" doesnt count as a game. It is a live series, unless some people would want to add those hours to the game itself?

The "i want to play a game, not a movie" bash for Metal Gear Solid 4 could be used against this game too if we are going to call it spade for spade.

QB has alternate scenarios so it should have plenty of replayability.

I know. But if the gameplay sucks then IDGAF about different story scenarios.

So hopefully the gameplay is up to par. Which I am sure it will be. These are the people behind Max Payne and Alan Wake after all :)

I have heard you need to play at least 3 times to see the whole story. Seems like plenty of replay value to me.

Also on this, opinions conveniently changed. Now it's good to have a tv show/cinematic killing the rythm by taking you away from the game for 25min.

Remedy is legit, i love them.

I trust them enough to pay full price for their games with my eyes closed.

There are as handful of studios that make me do this, they are one of them.

The show is part of the experience. Solely for gameplay, if it offers hours of quality and entertainment it's cool.
