For those of you that don't know it Satoshi Tajiri is the creator of the Pokémon franchise and he's quite an interesting personality. Since Red and Green were first released he has worked on EVERY SINGLE MAINLINE Pokémon game and, since he funded it, he's also the CEO of Game Freak. He rarely speaks to the pubblic and never appears in video, both due to him beeing very shy and suffering from the Asperger syndrome. He's appeared so rarely that if you were to type "Satoshi Tajiri" on Google you would find more pictures of Tsunekatsu Ishihara (CEO of The Pokémon Company) than of Tajiri himself.

Still, this year is an anniversary and, seeing how much effort Game Freak and The Pokémon Company are putting into celebrating it, I can't help but think that we just need a video/letter from the guy who made all this possible to be the icing on the cake.

I would love to hear from Satoshi himself! To create a phenomenon out of inspiration of capturing bugs and such from his childhood is nothing short of amazing. He's up there with Miyamoto, Kojima, Inefune, and a few others as some of the most important developers in the world, let alone Japan.

From the way you described it, most likely not, but it would be nice to hear something from him!

Probably not, but I would love to see more of the man who made one hell of an awesome game series I grew up with Him and Ken Sugimori. He's one of my artist heroes... T_T

Yeah I hope to see him more too! I thought it was weird that we mostly hear from Masuda and Ishihara more than the creator of Pokemon but I forgot of his shy personality. Didn't know he was still working in the mainline Pokemon games after Ruby/Sapphire and thought he let Masuda took over as well.

Probably not. Theres only 1 video interview from him and maybe a handful of pictures of him x.x
