Do you think Sony and Microsoft kept their promises?

Yes, they kept their promises. 25 26.32%

Yes, they overdelivered. 6 6.32%

Yes, but they took too long. 23 24.21%

No, they underdelivered. 41 43.16%

Total:95

I came across this image from around the launch of PS4 and Xbox One (or so I think due to Gaikai still not renamed to PS Now and due to no PS Vue, Share Play, Bloodborne, TLOU:R, LittleBigPlanet 3, R&C, Horizon, TLG, SFV, Rise of the Tomb Raider etc.).

What were their promises exactly? The things in those images? If so you could say they've both underdelivered on the 'biggest blockbuster exclusives' part at the very least.

Based on the image (I edited OP to make it a clearer) :)

Yeah. The exclusives could definitely be more and better. From SCE's exclusives I'm only really enjoying Driveclub, TLOU:R and LBP 3. Fortunately, 2016 looks to be a great year exclusive wise for all 3 manufacturers.

What are those images exactly? They are so similar that surely they were not compiled by Sony and MS. They must be compiled by someone else based on various PR and advertising that had been around at the time.

Odd, both supports 1080p60 for cinematic realism. Yet that's 24fps, which they both can do at 1080p. Check, delivered as promised.

Look like two political opponents, tweedle dee and tweedle dum.

Bold: Wouldn't that still be Sony and Microsoft's promises?

I think you're right though. I think someone made the Sony list as a response to Microsoft's. I'm pretty sure Microsoft's list is official. I'm almost certain I saw that picture a few years ago posted here by someone who got it in a mail from Microsoft. Anyone able to confirm?

Get more on Xbox.... With the weakest system I'd call that an under deliver.

XD Ubisoft be like

The Xbox side is missing where they promised to make games less expensive and where the Xbox one will increase in power by 700% due to the power of the cloud. Those are both promises MS has failed to deliver on. So far the only thing Sony has failed (although minor) is the PlayGo stuff.

Does anyone remember, during the PS4 reveal, them talking about 'pre-downloading' content that PSN thinks you might have some interest in? Like if you are hardcore into a game it might download a demo for you of a similar game, or download the DLC so that when you purchased it would be immediately available?

For some reason thats one of the few things I remember from the reveal, and I'm pretty sure its not currently implemented.
