Happy to hear you're exploring the Zelda canon. I'm envious you get to play some of these games for the first time.
The good news is that you can find most (if not all) of these games through the eShop or via remasters on 3DS and WiiU.
Let us know how you like them!
Welcome on board OP! There's never a better time to jump on the Zelda franchise than now, with all the remake/remaster and VCs, along with a new installment in the near future.
Nice!
I got a PlayStation for the first time this gen & find it to be pretty good so far & it will only get better. I found out that it's nice to switch things up every once in a while. It keeps gaming fresh. Not sure why some are being mean in here

There ain't a better franchise to return to.
And beating Zelda 1 at age 6 is awesome, when I was 6 I was still aimlessly running around A Link to the Past on my aunt's file thinking Ganon was literally impossible to beat. XD

Good advice! When I get to these two I will do them in that order. Thanks for the tip. =)
Congrats! Zelda is the greatest gaming franchise by far (imo).
You can do no wrong, just wait until Zelda U/HD is released... minds will be blown.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I sort of did this same thing. Being a kid of the 80's, I grew up with Nintendo, then Sega, then Sony then MS... but PS4 and Xbox One... I don't know... they sort of, it's gotten stale to me now. It's like, GTA, there's no charm left. It's played out. FPS like Halo and COD? Played out... tired. Even overall, the feel of modern "dark" games, they all feel the same to me now. But Nintendo? I don't know why, but that magic that was there as a kid, it's still there. I play a new Mario game and it's like, shit... why is this still fun? There's just something timeless about Nintendo, I really can't put my finger on it.
Basically, it's why I'm now gaming retro consoles and Wii-U 100% of the time. It's the only 8th generation console that feels fun to me and my PS4 just sits in rest mode, collecting updates to games I can't care enough about to play (and I own a few great ones from Christmas).
