I just tried the VR Test from Steam on my computer out of curiosity. I scored a 0. Lol.

| Normchacho said: You can, but the person you were responding to didn't say PCVR wasn't going to be succesful...Actually, nobody in this thread said that as far as I'm aware. It just seems like an overreaction when you're talking more about people not liking PCVR than the people who don't like PCVR... |
I was talking in general of others around here, as in big numbers>everything else seems to be the general ggist when it comes to sales data, off site you just get people in general saying it;s doomed because of it's price and not the fact that this world will always have premium and cheap products/services.
I'm not overreacting by much, I'm just pointing out that there are others out there who think otherwise. The part about people not liking PCVR has already been done here on the site once OR and Vive specs/prices dropped, now we have PSVR prices and sales data, those that weren't going to get PCVR are just going to ham up PSVR and bring up vs lists (can't tell me that there is never going to be a conflic of the PSVR 50 games list with exclusives VS OR which has 30 and no exclusives and eventually Vive, despite them being on different platforms they will be pitted on purpose despite their differences in ahrdware and platform).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

eh, I suppose it's not absolutely necessary but I prefer to see them than not. Besides there have been occasions I've wondered why something wasn't working only to look down and see I was pressing the wrong button |
Never been an issue for me except when I'm using my Hori figth pad. Which has the R1 and L1 mixed in with the triangle, square, circle, etc.

That's exactly what I am saying. Google cardboard is very impressive for how basic it is. Just imagine how much better it is on higher end setups. Heck, everyone got a Gear VR with the S7. That again is another impressive/easy way to see how great VR can be.
Yeah and the article fails to mention what comes after the first "wow" moment. All enthusiasm gone, a cool gimmick, won't replace TVs. At least thats how it was to me with DK2.

just give me interesting games and im on board
i find it funny how gamers opinions have changed over the years from the waggle of wii and floundering around of the kinect. We all used to say ''we look so stupid wagging the remote'' and ''we look so stupid using kinect''
but now were all going to waggle two wii remotes around and put on a helmet too
we've become a crazy bunch of people lol

I don't know about that, its once again "Try it and you will love it! If you don't love it, you're wrong."
Meh

On the flip side, something that is really cool in a 15 minute demo when you're doing it for the first time may not be as fun after the first few hours or weeks.
I'll like to play it, but price is a big factor to me. I'd have to buy a PS4, PSVR and the other mandatory accesories to try it, which is insane in my case. Still, even if I had a PS4, 400 dollars would be still too much for my wallet nowadays. Maybe when I find a proper job :P. I'm still not convinced in VR, though. That's why I want to try it.
Would like to try it but as someone who prefers mechanics over visuals, not sure I'd be sold.
