Nintendo maintained an impressive holding in Japan, as they have topped Japanese stocks for gaming companies in 2015. Things like the announcement of the mobile market helped sparked trends, as Japan is a very mobile friendly gaming environment.

Not really much of a surprise. They're responsible for a sizable portion of software, and a good number of hardware, sales in Japan.

Those pachinko machines must be very profitable, Konami went up despite all the shit around them. And Sega REALLY needs a couple of hits, hopefully Persona 5 delivers the good numbers.

Good job Nintendo. And this is without the real mobile games, parks and a succesful console.

Nintendo can only go up with NX on the horizon and 4 mobile apps to go. Its just amazing that people still somehow think that Nintendo is doomed.
