Basically this.

That's not how you worded it at all. The way you worded it was as if you were asking if its something that would only gamers would download or more people in general. Even if you only meant your own friends, though, my point still rings true. It's not a question at all. There's literally no reason it would be something only your gamer friends would use, its not a product marketed at all at gamers, so the premise of that question is wrong.

"I like the concept. I do use social media, but I don't make posts all that often cause I'm kind of an introverted person. If the app was sort of nudging me a bit like Miitomo I'd be more into it.
The question is simply whether or not Miitomo will be something a few of my gamer friends will install, or will it be something that a good chunk of people will use. "
I started this post talking about my personal use of social media, and how that would relate to whether or not I would enjoy Miitomo. Talking about my personal use of social media, and my personality. These are clues that, with basic reading comprehension, should clearly show that I am talking to my personal experience and about my friends in particular. Paragraphs tend to go together, so I don't know why you thought I completely switched topics halfway through the post.
I worded it exactly how I meant it. If I was talking about whether gamers in general would install it or not, I would have said "gamers" instead of "my gamer friends". I don't know how much more specific I could have been. I cannot think of any reason anyone should interpret it any other way.
But, hey, maybe I'm wrong. I'm fallible. Maybe it was written in a confusing manner. If that is the case, which it didn't seem to be for others, then not one, but two people clarified it for you. So there is no reason for you to still be confused about what I said. So why are you still arguing about something I didn't say after I clarified that I didn't say it?
And not only that, but you're going to tell me that it's not reasonable for me to question which of my friends would get this app? Uhhhhhh... the fuck? There are very good reasons why I'm confident my gamer friends would use it and that my non-gamer friends might not. Because my friends are not vague marketing demographics. They are people with preferences and behaviors that I know about, and that you don't. Unless you've been stalking me, then you wouldn't know what those reasons may be. There is literally nothing meaningful that you can say on the topic, and to try and tell me what the people on my friends list would or would not download is absurd.
I've clarified what I meant to say, which I think was abundantly clear in the first place. If you didn't know, now you know. If you're still going to try to argue, then you are arguing for the sake of arguing.
