Well, it looks like there's another NEW update for a certain manga about GAMEs!

...

...Yeah, it's another New Game! chapter... I'm glad to see this manga get some updates since the 2nd season of the anime ended not too long ago. At least I don't have to wait long to see what happens afterwards

Jeeez. I guess I'm going to have to read the manga now that the New Game anime is over. It ended at a place that makes me a lot more curious than the first season did.

Luckily the manga's just starting to pick up from the anime so there's not much catching up to do. As for previous chapters, most of it was in the anime, minus a few parts left out as well as a volume focused on the end of Aoba's high school days. I'm pretty sure the maid part from the anime wasn't in the manga.

Shokugeki: ...Surprise?

Wow...I honestly wasn't expecting Megumi to lose her fight. This is her first post time-skip fight, isn't it basically a shounen trope for her to win?

On one hand, I hate that Megumi loses every on-screen fight she gets. On the other hand, this is much more realistic than the friendship power thing we were getting a little while ago, and also much less predictable too. Momo was #4 in the Elite 10, and a 3rd year to boot, so to have Megumi beat her after a short training arc would also be kinda annoying.

I liked the reaction to it. Takumi and Issiki's silent worry, Souma's goofy reassurance, and Erina being a supportive friend. The last might have been my favorite part, I'd like to see more come of their new friendship.

Probably like 3 chapters left in this bout. Hopefully Souma hurries up and wins so we can get to the last one or two rounds of this arc.

MHA: Holy Shit

Shigaraki really doesn't mess around. That was a pretty brutal rescue that wasn't really a rescue...just a slaughter. I guess he really is reasserting himself as the main villain in this manga.

When the Magician took Chisaki's arm, I remembered the earlier confrontation between these two groups. I guess in the end, Shigaraki really bore a grudge for his lost comrade. Or more likely...he hated being one-upped back then.

I need to catch up on Promised Neverland...haven't been feeling it the last few weeks.

I keep forgetting to talk about MHA but yeah, a lot of things happening quickly. Just... that end to the recent chapter just seemed harsh towards Chisaki. After everything that happened in this arc, for him to get captured by the leader of the League of Villains AND lose his quirk from the drugs his team developed just seems brutal. It aaaaaalmost makes me feel an once of sadness for him, but after everything's he's done at this point, yeah, he should just lose his power in utter defeat. Such a scummy guy.

Also, a new chap of Wotakoi was uploaded recently. It's a good time when this manga gets an update

This time it's about crushes, but with a bunch of otaku, of course it goes into waifu/husbando territory xD Gotta say, I like Hirotaka's choice. Nakoruru is one of my fav gals from that series too xD

Jeeeezzzuss *roll*thrash*roll*

I've caught up with Houseki no Kuni, right on the brink of a lot of things being answered. It's frustrating.

It really is a remarkable manga. So much has changed since the first chapter. The protagonist has changed. I'm not even sure I'm on their side anymore. I'm not even sure THEY are really on their own side anymore, given what has happened. Still, despite those changes, a lot of things are coming full circle, back around to the rivalries and insecurities that were touched on when various characters first appeared.

I really don't even know what to think of Phos.

I don't know what is going to happen. I'm afraid for all the gems, especially those who believe in Phos but also those who do not. I think things are going to get very bad and some of them will be lost forever. They never asked to be involved in this conflict.

Also, I really like the inserts, though they make me a little sad.

Well, I read a bit of Houseki no Kuni, and so far I really like the art style. It is quite different from the norm and feels very artsy, like a sort of wavy, watery feel to it. However, it feels quite lengthy and dialogue heavy, so I feel somewhat confused on the story and characters. I'll continue reading some more of it.

This gave me shivers.  (The Jobless Siblings)

I enjoy this manga.  It's crude and doesn't really have a story but it's funny.

Haruko is an idiot NEET who doesn't like to leave the house and hates wearing anything but her sweats 24/7.
