Its been out a while now and looks really intesting especially since I found out it has an online multiplayer mode which was exactly what I wanted for this game. I think I might get it after I finish Fallout 4.

So has anyone here played it?

If you played any of the DS digimon's then its that with Digimon World 2 battle system.

I've only sampled it a few hours as it's in my backlog. It's a slow start but once you get the hang of it it starts to get more fun.

From what I've heard from others that played this says it's probably the best Digimon game to date and very enjoyable for a JRPG.

Thats what I heard too and its got me psyched. I always wanted a proper Digimon game.

Just dive in and buy it, im sure you wont regret it =)

I'm having a blast with it. My favorite part is raising my Digimon because it's more complex than Pokemon's one-way linear evolution system. You can branch out into different evolutionary lines and can de-digivolve, if desired. I also like how there not just an elemental weakness/resistance system, but also an attribute weakness/resistance system (e.g. data, virus, & vaccine).

My only complaint is that the game is too easy on Normal difficulty coupled with occasional spikes, so if you want to have a challenge, go for the higher difficulty setting.

I really like it, I'm moving pretty slow through it, playing on Hard, but i like alot of things about the gameplay and even the story. I can't help but compare it to pokemon, and i find it superior in every way, even though i like pokemon. However i have always preferred digimon > pokemon.

Is it ps4 only or is it on pc too?

No but I really wanna get it...

I'm really enjoying it so far. One of the priest handheld games I've ever seen. Amazed it's on 4 year old hardware.
