Forums - Nintendo - I've bought 28 Wii U games since I bought the console

34 without VC. Only 7 are full retail (Splatoon, Nintendoland, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros Wii U, Super Mario Maker, Hyrule Warriors and Sonic & Allstar Racing Transformed), though I also bought some other titles available at retail digitally because they where way cheaper (Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Injustice: Gods Among Us, One Piece Unlimited World Red, The Wonderful 101 (MK8 giveaway)). The rest are mostly digital only Indie game releases, with whom I also spend most time on my console.

Around the Network

I've got 20 retail releases, 19 of them physical, 1 digital. I plan on buying another five: Zelda U, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Yoshi's Woolly World, Super Mario Maker and Star Fox Zero. I'm hoping I'll get the double pack for Star Fox, so I guess my total for retail releases will top out at 26/27 (if Paper Mario is good and you include Star Fox Guard in the total), unless there are more announcements for late releases.

I've also got 11 Virtual Console games, and 8 eShop only games; there are a number of eShop only games I'm hoping to get but I generally prioritise retail releases on Wii U due to limited money/time (and using my older systems/Xbox One/3DS).

I have bought 1 digital and 3 physical so far for mine and have had it for 3 years now. Still a great purchase imo.

So you are enjoying your WiiU a lot!
Good for you.

I don´t remember right now how many games I bought (something around 30 retail + 10 digital), but I´ve been enjoying its library a lot too. It´s a great console with excellent games. I don´t regret buying it (although the 2016 line-up seems a bit dissapoiting by now)
