Yeah, no surprise. Knowing where we are, I didn't even vote.

The way these contests go doesn't really make much sense to me, to be honest. People vote for the games they like, not the actual best characters. Link is an average character in a great series. He doesn't have a fraction of the personality of GLaDOS, for example. That's the way these things usually go, though. At least it wasn't Mario.

I feel like it says something about the state of what we as a video game fanbase consider to be "good characters" when the top two are people who have literally not had a single line of dialogue in any game, ever (unless you count the CDI games for Link), but I digress.
