Forums - PC - Steam Deals: Sega Publisher Weekend

Essentially as the title says. Went on Steam after a hiatus and stumbled upon this.

Sega has up to 75% off on many of their games on Steam. Including but not limited to:

Valkryia Chronicles

Company of Heroes 2

Tempo the Badass Elephant

Addtionally, there are several franchises that have a multitude of games and DLC with deals that you can get in a bundle or seperately. This inludes:

Sonic

Total War

War Hammer

I only checked the Sonic Collection, but if I would reccomend just getting the whole bundle rather than several games simply because its ultimately cheaper.

The offer ends sometime Monday.

Personally got Valkria Chronicles and considering All Star Racing Transformed

Bought one of the Sonic games, but I'm kinda getting fed up with Sega sales. It seems their stuff has been on sale like every other week for the last few months or something

True. It seems they have been pushing their games a lot on Steam. Even with that free games promotion that they ran some time ago.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I'd have a lot more Total War games thanks to these sales if they didn't have a ridiculous amount of DLC, and pretty much all of that DLC is also overpriced. In my case, Sega is losing money by having too much money because I'm not buying even the base games anymore. Every single time there's Total War games on sale, I'm tempted to buy the ones I'm missing, but then I remember the DLC.

I remember that one. Got a couple of games of their. Still haven't touched most of them. Sega's on some tough times so I think they are really trying to cut some loses.

Not sure if this matters but the DLC is also on sale. I'll update the OP

Thanks, even though I already know it. Doesn't matter, my problem is that the DLC can add a lot to the price even after the discounts. I suspect that's also why Total War games are on sale so often: Sega counts on being able to make extra profit from the DLC. Actually that seems to have angered a lot of the fanbase for Total War games, and it probably has an effect on the sales as well. /rant

Wondering if I should grab one of the Sonic Racer games, I've not really bothered with any of them, even when they added some TF2 content.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I only played All Star Racing Transformed. I borrowed it from a friend for a weekend and I reccomend that. Imo its Mario Kart level of fun, but it does some things differently.

I guess there be no harm in grabbing it while it's cheap and I do like Sonic games.
