I was bored and decided to watch Mulan. As I was watching it, the song "To Be a Man" came on(which I really like). At first, I didn't pay much attention to it. Though, at the end I suddenly realized something-

She managed to become equal to the men. Not only that, but she proved them wrong and came to the top.

Also, the way she did so was not by complaining or crying. Instead, she chose to stand up and prove the men wrong. The ending scene showing Mulan managing to reach the top of the tree makes me disappointed by how many women attempt to address equality issues nowadays.

Also, Mulan is a great Disney movie.

Mulan is excellent. It's one of my favorite Disney movies and I think it teaches women (especially young girls) a great lessen.

Which makes the sequel all that much harder to watch...

Too bad people think frozen is a great movie for feminism-motivation. Doesn't surprise me that they cry as their way of solving things. :^)
