Please, give us examples of the tricks you're talking about. =)

You are one of these "ask for internet citation like if I was writing a scientific paper on a scientific journal"guys I see. Also known as the "I have no arguments left so Im gona start asking for links" guy. Research it, don't research it I dont give a damm, Im not gona do your work for you.

I take it as a "I don't know/understand what I'm talking about".

Thanks for clearing that out. =)

As mentioned many times, this isn't what I've been asking and I fail to see how you couldn't get the point yet. That is too distant to see properly. For comparison, this is what we see in a cutscene:

So far, no gameplay footage has such an angle or similar. I would greatly appreciate if you stopped posting gameplay images/gifs/videos that aren't angled like that while pretending they are. We need to wait for more footage.

About the closest we get (QTEish gameplay segment from extended E3 demo).

While I'm here, just for general reference between engine teaser and debut demo cutscene:

It realy does not work like this, ye you can't brute force things cause you generaly have less of each "thing", less memory, less processing power, less video power etc. But they are built in an optmized way, if that wasn't the case consoles would be CPUs with a space for you to insert disks, it is a specialized architecture and the difference between someone who know how to harness this extra oomp this specialization gives and someone who doesn't is monstrous. A PC with the exact same specs as a PS4 would need some sort of miracle to run UC4 with this level of visuals, and any devs that just brute force PCs to get super good graphics will end up excluding lower end PCs from being able to run the game wich is very bad for sales.

PS4 and Ones are closer to pCs than any other console before tough, so things might have changed a bit (or a lot) but anytime I see a PAS4 pulling a The Order or UC 4 kind of look Im lead to think otherwize.

The architecture of the consoles this gen surely are a lot more similar to pc's but i think it is important to say that this doesn't mean that the optimization possiblities are significantly lower. It just means that the initial effort you have to put into getting results are much lower. You don't need to put effort into just harvesting the standard performance like with T3H C3LL.

Each piece of hardware in the PS4 still have intricacies within that can be explored just like with the ps3, the difference is just that you don't need to deal with the hassle of using completely new instruction sets.

And ofc also console devs have direct access to the hardware + fixed hardware which helps by a huge margin.

How is it not blindingly obvious that a console is going to provide for a better, and more efficient platform to optimize on?

Everything about them is built from the ground up to play video games. But don't take my word for it, below is a link to a presentation by Dr. Richard Marks, who runs Sonys Magic Lab, where he mentions that a console (The PS4 specifically) is 60% more powerful than the equivalent PC. Due to things like a super low latency OS,  and an API that allows for very deep optimization.

Edit: Skip to 8:30 for the part in question.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I am not putting in question that specs for specs consoles are more capable than PCs.

I need U4 in and around my mouth.

Disturbing

But not the most disturbing thing to read in this thread strangely.

Trust me I'm sure it's not lol

no you mean *must not see*. if you're a fan of uncharted you'd do yourself a favor and ignore all these including the last few trailers. you're going to limit how much it will blow you away if you've seen a lot of it already.

Lol this is the opposite to how Ubisoft and CD projekt red do it :P

It's made for the specs of one platform with a talented team. No need for parity here.
