I agree with you guys, his comments seem to imply that the game is at least very connected to Twilight Princess, and it will probably be a "sequel". I mean, even the technology thing seems similar:





Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

What they could do with the Amiibo that I would like:

-Be able to read twili texts spread around the world that would flesh out the history of hyrule 

-unlock the special combat moves immediately. They'd be unlockable through gameplay too

-grave rob your remaining rupies fromTP:HD from the heroes grave

-turn into wolf link

I'll be ok with this (even more if can unlock wolf Link transformation via in game).

He can take all the time as long as he keeps showing footage. They did with Ocarina of Time and it was worth as we were seeing the progress and why was taking so long.

Yes, this heavily hints that Zelda U is sequel to Twilight Of Princes or at least prequel.

When they said that Wolf Link Amiibo would work on Zelda WiiU, I instantly thought that Midna will be back in the new game. Why the hell would a Midna amiibo work otherwise? I know why, cause $$.

But still, Aonuma's comment did'nt anything to make me think it's not possible. So I'll keep claiming that Midna will be back on the next Zelda game! :D
