Is there any purpose or objective in No Man's Sky?
I like this thread.
We need more comparisons that make absolutely no sense at all. I'm going to go start a "Quantum Break vs Cuphead" thread.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Just endless exploring it seems, and that's why i think it will be a niche title. So unless Horizon turns out to be just a pretty face like The Order, it will easily sell more.
I don't think people are quite realising how big No Man's Sky is going to be.
The PS5 Exists.

It's a full game with AAA support from sony. Because it's made by a indie dev doesn't mean it deserves less money for a retail copy around it's release. |
Every indie is a "full game" and idk what you imply by "AAA support" but yeah, $60 for this game is too rich for my blood though. Another reason I think Horizon will easily outsell it.
Though, I assumed this was strictly PS4 vs PS4.
Horizon without a doubt. But I think NMS will see a pricecut almost inmediatly and then really take off, then when it hits steam sales fly again. If it wasent a $60 game, it could have won I think.

Exactly! Why does an indie developer deserve less money just because of what they are? The amount of content in NMS most certainly deserves the $60 price point. Most AAA games could only dream of having as much content as this game claims to have (trillions of planets to explore and whatnot).
As far as sales go, I think both games will be pretty close to each other, just depends on which game is bundled more. If NMS is everything that it appears to be and lives up to hype I could see it take the lead though.

Not saying that they dont, but customers see value in other aspecs of a game. Like story, wich this game has none. Vissuals, wich this game has low. Gameplay, wich this game has shown very little off. There might be tons to do, but nobody has confirmed that all of it is enjoyable. Personally I canot play a game withoout a story, so for me this is not worth even $10. An indy studio will never satisfy all the categorys and please every gamer, so I can understand people complaining. While I understand some praising the game for cuz it has what they love.
