Forums - Nintendo - Capcom files Monster Hunter Generations trademark, Monster Hunter X localization

MH4 is a beast of a game, will be interesting how this pans out.

Hopefully they announce it tomorrow.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Dunno how the Japanese lap up so much monster hunter. I'm burnt out and haven't even finished four, yet here comes another one. Although I have to admit going from dual analogue on the wii u to the 3ds controls was a major step backwards and I never got used to it.

It's the kind of game I feel I need a few years off before I have the energy/patience to play another one.

Hmm, perhaps we'lk see something in tomorrow's direct?

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Hell, I'm burnt out on it after just playing 3 on Wii and 4 on 3DS.

It's great, but there's a ton of recycled content, and it gets old grinding the same monsters to get the same materials to make the same gear. I mean, sure, they throw in new ones, but 4 for example reuses heaps of stuff from 3.

Interesting name. Maybe it'simplying it's a cross gen game? Or maybe a game that takes place on earlier MH Generations? :-o

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this. Didn't play MH4, and not sure I would play this one either.

I love Monster Hunter but have never played it on a handheld-  Nor can i imagine it would  feel near the same as playing on a console. Having said that i was very disapointed Nintendo did not work somethning out with Capcom to get at least ONE more MH game on the Wii U-  I think MH 4 would have absolutley been a sytem seller for the Wii U in NA and prob the EU  (realative to most/all existing Wii U software)  A good H game is a  game many people would buy a console for

Nice, looking forward to it, if true. I spent 200+ hours on 4G, so of course I'm looking forward to another.

Hopefully they give me some breathing room though...have a lot of 3DS games coming out this year and barely any time to play them all. x.x
