Square Enix has revealed the key differences between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness. The content of the game will be exactly the same on both platforms, however, as we expected the PlayStation 3 version will suffer multiple visual setbacks. Chief among these is that the game will run at 30 frames per second, as opposed to the PlayStation 4 version, which runs at 60 frames per second. The resolution will be 720p on PS3, and 1080p on PS4. The PlayStation 3 version of the game will have shorter draw-distances, simpler facial expressions, and more rudimentary physics processing. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will surpass this in essentially all aspects, with greater draw-distances, more details character models and facial expressions, better physics, and more.
