I think the show will be a little more integral to the game than you're implying, and I'm 100% sure that the game isn't the main reason most people are getting Quantum Break, just like the gameplay sections aren't the main reasons people got TLoU. Not watching the cutscenes in QB will surely be equivalent to skipping most of the cutscenes in TLoU.

I guess thats one way to keep a single player game "always online" DRM ?
We added a tv series you have to stream from our servers when you play it.

Welp, I don't own an Xbox One, neither am I interested in this particular game. And I obviously have internet, because otherwise I wouldn't be posting here. Anyway, I can only use 4G where I live right now and that comes with a data cap. I got 30 GB a month. Everything beyond that costs extra money - a whopping 20 € for 5 GB extra.

So if something like this would happen to a game I care about - I would be seriously pissed! =P

I thought the episodes were in between the levels, kinda like cutscenes? Well if it's not on disc and not part of the campaign mode then I'll skip them.

Kinda sucks for people with Internet caps.. Anyway..gotta go surf the web further with an unlimited cap.. Heck my phone subscription is even that old that I still have an unlimited cap on it.. Well not unlimited but like 999GB.. It's funny to see it go down to like 996GB at the end of the month

IGN has a few Quantum Break videos up at the moment. It's looking real good.

We'll have to just wait and see. But I think the game will have a decent closure.
