Apparently single-word posts constitute as trolling. My phone had eaten the rest of this post, but the banhammer was swung with reckless disregard for reason. Here's the rest of the post:

Couple things. 

1) One word posts are considered trolling, people have ben banned for them. The implication of just, "Ha," seems to be trolling in nature anyway. 

2) Not the best idea to calll out a mod. PM exists for a reason. 

Yeah, I try, but they just ignore me. And no, one word posts are considered Spamming, which was the back-up reason.

Well, since Windows 10 and DirectX 12 will be fairly stable on x64 for the next decade or the GPU would be the thing that would need to upgrade for the short foreseeable future.

And this ties in with AMD's announcement of a new standard for external GPU. But even if you doubled the power of the GPU would that really change much? We need something like 10x more powerful to really get innovation.

Yes please, even if it's used only to speed up the lag fest of this new UI. Snapped TV stutters like Jimmy when it's snapped to a game.

Wet cat jokes snuck up in the rules as well. I wear my moderation with pride. 😎 I also have been moderated for a one word reply. It was back when I had just come back from a long break. New rule can just sneak up on you like that. Heck, inactive members can now pop in and become mods. This place is full of surprises. 😆

Both Sony and Ms ,picked the platform for many reasons but one of them was definitely the fact that not only does it it give them BC going forward it does it a way that's a lot cheaper than the old model, and I remember Sony saying console cycles may be nearer to 5 years  then 7 years , this had to do with the fact that less R&D and quicker timelines stemming from using the same platform.

The same reasons that some say makes it opportune to do inter generational upgrades , the problem is it can also back fire by not giving people enough reason to upgrade and what happens if you have Xbox one then PS4 then Xbox 1.5 in that order power wise , you may end up with the PS4 being the one that becomes the lead platform and where does that leave the xbox 1.5 , on top of that what happens if in say 12 to 18 months later having done it's cycle , you get a even stronger PS5 billed as the real next gen , also you have to take into account Nintendo in all this , so you could end up with a confusing mess.

The upgrade will most likely be getting new one rather than upgrading ram. They are going steam box route. Have laptop cpu,gpu in a sleek box and surely not cross 500$ somehow and release a newer one say in 3yrs interval. I am not sure this is going to work at all. It will definitely split xbox community to Xbone1 xbone2 and even xbone3 with most sales coming for 300-350$.

I wonder if "Tag" comments count as spam.

both MS and Sony are in revision models of their consoles - hd disk space increase, slim versions, X1 has the elite version, and i believe it would continue. even Nintendo - it has n3Ds which has upgraded specs.

the main focus of MS would really be the upgraded specs - ram, cpu and gpu processing power i believe. if it is good or bad? i don't know.
