Eh I live in Australia, the only time Ive Streetpassed (not including sis at home) was when I went to a Kid Icarus Tourney. It was clearly made for Japan and the games with it arent even all that great.

I had never tried streetpass before, but I have just played it because of this thread, and... well, I have no friends so it´s kinda boring hahaha.
Does it get interesting once you have plenty of mii friends?

I don't really care about it. I personally don't get the appeal, though I'm glad other people enjoy it, and it doesn't negatively impact my play experience, so I hope it's a feature that carries over to the NX in some way.
I found the mecca of all stores for StreetPassing. Went to Home Depot with a cleared out queue for Miis. Hit 10 after a few minutes. Let them through the gate and in a few more minutes it filled the queue back to 10. Now to play through 20 Miis. I wonder if I park close to the entrance, I can keep getting hits off their relay points. Might try it one night
Home Depot has a lot of street passes? Guess I'll stop by there next time my dad wants some hardware lol.

Oh, it's apparently been discontinued, nvm! |
Sucks for America. In Europe it is still active. However, according to their calendar this might change on 31st March.

I went on business trip to New York City and went to the Nintendo store and got 50+ that day, but then went back to roughly one a month and gave up on it. Neat idea, but varies massively based on location. |
I bet it works amazingly well in Japan.

In my city, groups of fans regularly organize meetings just for streetpassing and playing together. Until 2012 we uses MeetUp.com for that but now people just use facebook (which I simply hate). You really don´t need to have Mii Friends to enjoy streetpass. You get hits with any person

I've never used it, but then again, my 3DS rarely ever leaves the house.

I've had my 3DS for almost 5 years now, and I still don't even really know what Streetpass does...
I don't take my 3DS with me outside though, so I've never gotten a hit anyway.
