Forums - Nintendo - So who actually pre-ordered Twilight Princess HD?

My brother's birthday passed and he wanted the Wolf Link amiibo but didn't want to spend the money on the game. So I got it for him.

I didnt pre-order it, I always get remasters and remakes later, I'm saving money for new games, but I will get it at some point because I dont have TP on Wii anymore and even if I had it it looks just terrible for today standarts and the motion controls felt forced, however this looks nice and clean and has the GC controls along with some nice improvements and the same gamepad functionalities as wwhd.

Yeah, I've just found the special edition! :)

Were you looking for it? It was on amazon for some time, and elcorteingles had it for like a month. If I new I could have told you!

Honest question here, do you think the special edition is worth it? Is it worth it for you? I´ve it on preorder for 54,95€ but that´s just the price of the game AND the amiibo. If the standard edition was pricier I wouldn´t feel that I´m paying for the amiibo as well, and I don´t really like amiibo unless they are 5€ or less xD

I don´t see anything "special" about this edition (yeah, we get the OST, but it´s just a selection and I don´t expect to get more than 8 tracks which is a bummer) if only they gave us those awesome postcards Japan is getting with the preorder :_(

I got a pre order discount and a couple of friends told me they loved the original and i've never played it before.

I didn't know the $50 version was even available. I ordered the one that comes with "Wolf Link". It'll be my first Amiibo, ever!

I did.

I never played it before and I loved Wind Waker HD, so I thought I might as well play the best version of TP, too.
Also, I love having the inventory/map on the gamepad/lower screen for the 3DS remakes. I never want to play a Zelda with a traditional inventory again, if I can help it.

I preordered it because I thought I would have time to play it as a sort of bachelors celebration and longhaul it, but now I'll probably be busy jobhunting...:/

preordered my digital copy from amazon

I decided to buy it pretty recently, when I saw some gameplays and thought that it actually looked cool :P. So when I was looking for the special edition, I didn't find it anywhere until yesterday when Amazon offered some new copies which last like... nothing, but I guess I was lucky xDDDD.

I think it's worth it because of the soundtrack. In my case, I love to put CDs on my car to drive to work, and I can't wait to put the TP soundtrack blasting my car xDDDD. It's not a big deal, but at least it's something. And I really wanted to buy the amiibo. I could have bought it standalone or bundled, I didn't mind, but I really wanted it to my Zelda freak collection xDDDDD. Actually the OST has 20 tracks in it, not orchestrated, which is a shame...

because i felt like it :O

-I've only played 10 minutes of the game Wii version so I've basically haven't played it.
-It looks pretty good to me but that's not the main reason I pre-ordered it.
-The Wolf Link Amiibo seemed pretty cool and I plan on buying the others to assist me in my quest!
-I also need a new Wii U game.

I played the GC version for 3 hours. Did not have a memory card at the time and had to turn it off. Never touched it again.

Dang!!  That would have killed me!!  I don't blame you for never playing it again after losing all your progress!!
