If you read my post later, I actually figured it out, hence my hybrid fear. Because that dev clearly described a handheld, and I can't see any reason a console would need a streaming HDMI dongle.
My only glimmer of hope is that there is no way in hell they can get a handheld-sized device to be as powerful as the XBO yet. Something is missing. I hope.
Also, it looks like a 2DS and a Samsung? Samsung WHAT?
It sounds like a hybrid portable device.
If it can run XB1 graphics, that would be extremely impressive.
The haptic analog stick part sounds cool too.
I dunno, usually I can sniff out phony rumours pretty easily, but some of this sounds on point.
The easy compiling/porting of XB1/PS4 games kinda sounds a lot like what Nintendo was doing with indie game ports on the Wii U, no?

That and price. I'm not a tech guy but it's hard to imagine it selling for less than 400$. That'll hurt it's ability to be sold as a handheld, assuming it even qualifys as one. With dual screens and analog sticks, I don't see how it's gonna fit in my pocket.
