The only way i can see the NX competing or outselling the PS4 is if the NX does turn out to be a handheld+console fusion.

I said xbox,  Playstation and pc for home consoles.  phones and tablets for mobiles.  The numbers don't lie for both hardware and software.  very few currently game on Nintendo platforms compared to the rest.

So yeah, very few lol. I still dont get why you think nobody is on Nintendo platforms. Just going by the top 2 Software sales for 3DS, theres at least 12-15mil fans aboard Nintendo platforms. Which is currently over half of X1 users so yeah...

Any way you slice it, Nintendo is royally screwed. Once someone has stopped buying Nintendo products, they'll never come back.

Why would you ignore the Ps3 and 360 userbase which is still very active.  Look at the charts on here.  They are dominated by ps and xbox. Pc also sells a shit load digital.  Android and iOS huge revenue.  

 

Meanwhile Nintendo software sales severely lacking like never before.  Just go back through the last 3 years of software sales on here and you'll see.

Your comparing Basically Nintendo against everyone else (not sony/ms, everyone). And i checked, Nintendo Software dominates, your point? 2015 didn't see really any major games releasing, but still nintendo didnt do that bad.

Yes Nintendo software ie, the general software sales on the Wii U and 3DS are a drop in the bucket now.  

 

The Wii U hasn't even reached 100m and it's gen is almost over while the 3DS total software is very low.  Ps4 on its own is almost past it at retail.  

 

Vita because this is included in this is also very low. I don't see very positive futures for a Successor of the vita,  3DS or Wii U.  as I've said endless times most are gaming on pc, Xbox,  Playstation and Android / iOS. 

 

You are entitled to say the future is bright,  I'm entitled to believe it's not.  The good news is time will be the judge and will tell us who's right.
