I won't be pissed if the NX is an upgrade, but I won't buy the NX at launch. I'll wait and see how it does (game and sales wise) and then I'll think about it.
I will be pissed if the NX is weaker than the PS4, or has some stupid design choice like the Wii U (bottleneck CPU, designed to need little electricity).

I bought the Wii U pretty early, and it still gets more playtime than my other home consoles...so I don't think I'd mind. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it.

Nope. Nintendo is a business. Sometimes, when you release a product that performs terribly (WiiU), you need to reform/restructure and move on. I think they should move on to the next console ASAP, assuming it has decent support right away.

No way, I welcome the NX era. Wii HD came out 1 yr too late, and as a whole, the Wii product line will have its 10th birthday at the end of the yr. Its time to move on.

The only thing I'd want is digital BC for eshop since there are games I need to catch up on, and I don't like to keep old HW.

Its kinda hard to say. I've had mine for almost three years, but haven't used it much. There's a few retail games I need to get, I have three opened, and three sealed... The only saving grace is the VC, since the eShop became the haven for cheap indie games with no effort into them.

So I haven't enjoyed the absolute best the Wii U has to offer, but if they replace it this year... Whatever, not going to buy NX in its early lifespan.

Not really, how can I blame them? Wii U has been a dud for them sales-wise, and there's only so many resources they can put in before just dropping it in favor of something new and possibly more profitable.

8th Gen. It would fit in better with the other two 8th Gen consoles (in terms of power), and it would enable Nintendo to stop lagging a generation behind in power.
