Mario Tennis is a worse game obviously. Mario Tennis has less content, because it's more work balancing characters and SFV has more maps. So I'd say it's in a middle ground between Mario Tennis and Splatoon. Splatoon was lacking when it came out, but at least it had a decent single player experience with bosses and some platforming levels, and 3 online modes. Not outstanding, but it's factually more content. And it was 30€ cheaper at least in Spain. Big difference.

Yes I got the game for 32€ two days before its official release lol, and few months later it had 3 times more content and it was totally worth 60€ so I actually feel like I stole from Nintendo and not the other way around. I believe it was also cheaper in Japan, like 50$ or so.

Yeah, me too. I was talking with my Ninty-fan friend the other day that if they are going to release more maps and weapons, I'd feel guilty for paying 30 euros xDDDDDD. I mean, each time they released something we were like: "Fuck, stop it already".

The only guy who nails it here is this guy.

Except he doesn't, you didnt even bought the game to beggin with, Splatoon had 5 maps yes, but it had also a ton of weapons and gear, a very good single campaign, a 1vs1 local mode, and 3 online modes, and those  modes were not broken as SFV where people cannot play online, splatoon worked perfectly, and the new content started coming the same week the game was released.

This. Also, SFV """""""""history mode"""""""""" is about 1 hour and half long (with only one baby difficulty setting included) while Splatoon was between 7 and 8 hours. And that's without upgrading your gear to the max or geting all the secret scrolls.

And yet some people keeps saying that Splatoon was a theft lol Some of that people is pretty silent about SFV now though XD

I think now almost nobody thinks that they didn't pay for what they wanted with the massive amount of free updates and so. SFV still has time to do the same, but the fact is that is still more barebones than Splatoon when it came out, but it can still worth the price with time. At least they promised some updates to the game. Let's see how it goes in the end :P

Mario tennis isn't ever going to have anything added to it. Other than a little paid DLC to add a couple characters.

Street fighter is going to have "Free content" added to it over the years. That is very splatoon like.

On top of which they didn't hide single player content, missions, and rewards behind 30 dollar amiibo's.

$30? I've never seen an amiibo that expensive. Other than that you are right SF V will get content eventually whereas Mario Tennis won't get anything anytime soon.

on topic tho I think after the reviews that Ultra Smash got it definitely is not in the same league as Splatoon or SFV, just a different league altogether.

And c'mon, the Amiibo's use in Splatoon is fair. I mean, they unlock some single player modes which consist in playing the exactly same levels with a different weapon, in what world is this suposed to be a big deal? Bashing Amiibo's use because of yes seems to be the norm today.

In the middle between the two, eh? Probably closer to the truth and maybe I should had included that option in the poll, but I'm glad I didn't. It makes things too easy.

Street Fighter 5 = 6.4GB, 60€
Mario Tennis Ultra Smash = 1.396GB, 50€
Splatoon = 2.2966GB 40€

Let's see some carnage, it's more fun that way xDDDDD

I actually bought the amiibos because I felt guilty that I couldn't pay more for all the extra content I got in Splatoon.
