Nintendo will reach out to small Indie Devs when Nintendo NX is announced and not one minute earlier! They will NOT give any Information to small Indie Devs because they don't want to risk that Information leakes about the Nintendo NX. They will give Information about Nintendo NX at this time only to high trusted 3rd Party Developpers!!!

That is really pointless when the console is gonna come out in the middle of a gen. What can they hide? in 3-4 years. MS and Sony will know the NX "secrets". And then do their "copying".

Yeah, as much as I like to play indie/small dev games and enjoyed Ori, some of these guys should really curb their self-importance.

I'm pretty sure all AAA devs have dev kits - if this was some AA dev/publisher talking (like we had with Metro 2033 dev on WiiU launch saying its CPU is horrible) I would understand the fuss, but this tantrum seems more of a "how come you're not recognizing my greatness?" type of thing.

This! Developers who are in the "I want a Nintendo NX Dev Kit" should be ignored! Developers should be in the "I would like to have an Nintendo NX Dev Kit"!

Yeah so SE slipping Japans biggest franchise, Dragon Quest, on NX was just a mistake.

Didnt read the full comments did you? It's the same for the other manufactorers as well which includes Xbox and Sony, this is not a unique case in any way. Is that a wrong strategy? Probably.. but definitely not unique for Nintendo.

The only ones who complain are Indie Dev, and they don't get Dev Kits not before Nintendo themselfs presented the Nintendo NX!

Well, his game is a GOTY winner and he reached out to Nintendo for information. You'd hope that this step wouldn't even happen as Nintendo should be reaching out to him.
