only at Chapter 8 in Birthright who is the Tharja in Fates - Birthright? any outstanding character?

I've bought the SE. :)

My favorite male characters are Saizo and Subaki, and females are Azura, Hinoka and Rinkah. Honestly I love everyone except for Azama

In Birthright, the Tharja character might be Rhajat? I haven't gotten that character yet, so I can't say... Personally I'm really liking Setsuna and Oboro, but the majority of the characters are pretty good, minus ones like Hayato >_>;

What?! How can you not like Azama?! He's so comical! He looks so chill, but seems like an actual mean character! Though I don't use Azama much, nor Saizo. I already have Zake and Sakura : X Also, I don't like RInkah bacause mine is just so bad! She has terrible stat growth!  She gets maybe 2 points per lvl, and she's like lvl 12 now... T_T

Which of the 2 did you buy? (Or did you get the special edition?)

I got the SE, playing Birthright first.

What do you think of the game so far? Any positive/negative things to say about it?

The story is interesting and I like most of the characters.  I really appreciate how they've worked to make the skills and weapons balanced, adding quite the bit of depth to the strategy.However, the positives stop there.

Most of my issues are with the writing.  The talk between siblings is quite cringy, with all the "big brother/sister" remarks.  Worse though, is how the avatar is treated like God(see MU's death quote for a reference).  Voice acting is bad at best.  The sin that is unforgivable though is that you can marry your own blood relatives.    Like, wtf?

It's alright but I'm 10 chapters in and I'm not really enjoying it.

I got the special edition, I am absolutely loving this game. More than Awakening. (Although if you know me you'd know that I'm not that fond of Awakening)

The only thing I dislike is the map... I loved the walking around and stuff instead of just choosing an option.
Although it is better than the Radiant games where there basically isn't a map at all. (Though I still love those games)

Currently on chapter 22 of Birthright with almost 19 hours in and I plan to play through Conquest and Revelation as soon as I'm done. :D

Since Revelations spoils some/most of the stuff in Birthright and Conquest. Nintendo WANTS you to buy BOTH version's first, then Revelations.

Derrick from Gamexplain said that playing both versions (not sure if its just 1 run) is enough to keep you busy until Revelations is out. Of course many aspects can go into this like, How good you are, the difficulty, spending time in My castle and etc. 

Of course im part of the ones that are still waiting........ Soooo these NA players can give a better opinion in terms of how many hours they spend so far and how far they are. 

There's nothing wrong with him as a character is just that he is a healer, and I already have Sakura and Felicia for that, and well since I don't use him a lot I can't really say I like him and I don't see myself replacing Sakura or Felicia for him.

Hmm, that is def true. I have suffering that issue with many characters. There are other characters I want to use, but I already have that class type covered, like Sakura, Hana, Orochi, and Kaze. I really wish I could use more units. I have so many I want to use...

Oh god the "same class" struggle, I have that same problem and it really sucks but I use some units for the sidequests and other for the story missions, that the best way to utilize all units and develope support between them.
