I got the SE, playing Birthright first.
What do you think of the game so far? Any positive/negative things to say about it?
The story is interesting and I like most of the characters. I really appreciate how they've worked to make the skills and weapons balanced, adding quite the bit of depth to the strategy.However, the positives stop there.
Most of my issues are with the writing. The talk between siblings is quite cringy, with all the "big brother/sister" remarks. Worse though, is how the avatar is treated like God(see MU's death quote for a reference). Voice acting is bad at best. The sin that is unforgivable though is that you can marry your own blood relatives. Like, wtf?
It's alright but I'm 10 chapters in and I'm not really enjoying it.
