Yess I'm well aware a PC isn't just for work. But like I said, in my case it's mostly for work. I also use it to make music, designs, some games, chat, skype and many more. Also a PC comes in the form of tablets or laptops you have as many choices as you want...
I'm not sure of what you,re trying to say here though. MS is a platform builder, a hardware builder, OS builder but they should release their games on the competition? So you want Sony and Nintendo games on other platforms? Is that it?

It's fine that you treat it for work, just as long as you acknowledge that it's not just meant for work. SOme of those can be called that but a tablet is technically still a tablet the way a phone will always be a phone.
What I'm trying to get at is the fact that others out there who get more money from supporting multiple OS's technically make for way better competition that MS. For years MS has had plenty of time to ramp up a single genre on PC and it wasted it all, just trying to come back now isn't going to suddenly win every single one of us over, why reward them when I can reward someone who gives me the time of day and doesn't tell me to jump through multiple hoops of theirs and at what time.
I don't get your inclusion of Sony and Nintendo since those two don't really have a thing for PC, I was actually reffering to Steam who actually support multiple OS's, who allow you to mod their games, play in offline mode and more. With MS it's get 10, get on the store or get out, you call it a right, I call it bad support and non caring. To me that's them telling you how to game, at least with Steam I can game on Mac, Linux, Steam OS, Windows 7 and all the way to 10 long with being able to mod those games. With MS I get zip of that, I have to go 10 and use their store and get absolutely none of what Steam offers me, why on earth should I reward and applaud them for giving me less options and telling me what to do?.
I know you like MS and all that but you have to admit that this whole "PC commitment" plan of theirs isn't about them supporting you out of genuine kindness, you must realise that they want to take that market back by brute force, not the "hells yeah, das what I'm talking about MS" kind.
The more RTS titles that support more OS's, the objeectively better, if MS doesn't want to play that game then that's their loss, the market will always provide for someone else like it has done for years.
