The game is fantastic. Reviewers will take a shot at anything they can for clicks. The fact that this is a console exclusive puts an even bigger target on its back.

If you wanna talk about targets, well you should see how the interest talks about Xbox exclusives. But I lets not get into that...

Critics are just reviewing the product as it is NOW. Not what it has the potential to be.

Hypothetically, if someone is new to Street Fighter, would you recommend Ultra SFIV for $25 or SFV for $60? One game has a ton of characters and significantly more features. The other is... a work in progress.

Forza 5 was criticized while Forza 6 was praised. You want me to explain why?

You also have games that have little content but good gameplay that review well like titanfall.

These review scores are slightly misleading, SFV is a fighting game and with fighting games there's one things that matters way more than anything else and that's how well it plays when you're fighting, and from almost everybody I've spoke to and read about say the actual fighting gameplay is brilliant, they say the controls work perfectly and feels really fluid and smooth. It's getting a minus 80% score simply because it's mainly an online game at the moment, but people arnt going to read into this and just think it's a completely bad game.
I understand capcom is to blame for this and they had it coming but it seems a tad bit bad that it's going to give people the wrong impression of the game.

They always are, it is not like a fighting game with a higher metacsore will be more fun for ya.

I just like impressions from people I know, happy console gamer is one of them:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkaIXlOMCrY

I can explain this.

Titanfall benefitted critically for having fresh gameplay. I just noticed virtually every reviewer on Metacritic enjoyed it, which is rather surprising for a multiplayer only game. I'm not a huge multiplayer FPS fan, but I spent a lot of time with TItanfall as well.

Street Fighter V is fun, but SFIV was very similar in core gameplay had more content. SFIV benefiited greatly for breating new life into a classic IP. SFV doesn't do that.

Indeed, or games that are broken and review better. That said, it's a little disappointing to have to wait for the some of the content.

What broken games have reviewed better?

360 for $200 or XB1 for $350?

In both examples I choose SFV and XB1 due to future proofing.

I'm glad it's getting hammered the way it is.
I feel no game with a full price should be released in this state, and I don't care about "free DLC". Should have been released for much less if they planned all this extra stuff to be added, or for fuck sake, just delay the game until the Summer.

I understand but his (you want me to explain it to you?) paraphrasing was unnecessarily rude when it's not by any means a concrete situation.

That's subjective as I own titanfall and disagree with you.

My point remains.  Reviews are subjective and reviewers are as biased as the rest of us. There is no concrete SFV lacks content that's why it is getting hammered.  Since reviews don't even have the most basic objective criteria, like a game being required to at least be functional to score well, it's no wonder people see biases whether actual or not.

That's just it most sf fans don't want the game delayed so people can enjoy the sf story. All I need is a training room and online matches and I'm good. The rest of you can wait for the riveting sf story coming in

Oh wow, terrible comparison.

Those are platforms, they give you access to many games the other may not. I'm comparing two games available on the same console.
