Good. Don't buy them, so Nintendo can invest in games I like

That splitting-content bussiness is going to get them a lot of bad rep in the long run. I don't know why are they doing this, considering Awakening saved the franchise, and it could go back to being endangered just as fast. I hope Nintendo prints enough special editions, because people are going to want to get the full game in one cartrige.

My thoughts exactly. They did great with awakening and now they might ruin everything. Who thought it would be nice to release the game like that?

Yep, another anti-consumer Nintendo practice. Thankfully decided to not buy and better spend the money on Pokemon Red or DQVII-VIII.

Don't worry, I'm buying them all at full price
I think what they did with this game is really scummy and greedy, but I love Fire Emblem too much to care and I'll be getting the special edition day one, along with the Special Edition New 3DS XL. I guess Nintendo knew there were plenty of people like me where they could take advantage of us like this.

Here's the problem with that. |
I believe Nintendo did discount Awakening for a time on the eShop, and of course retailers can do their own sales so that's what I'll be waiting for before getting this game.

Oh dang! How lucky! Its looks soooo good!
Pocky Lover Boy!

Well, I honestly think that the amount of content for both of the games are way superior to Awakening and, in this case, worth 60 bucks. And that's probably what I'm going to do. Could they have released both of the games in one package for 40 bucks? Yeah. But, nevertheless, the content is not that weak to not be worth that prize. And thanks for the info, I was very curious to know about that :).
I get for what you've said that Birthright has actually almost the same content as Awakening. 50-41 levels but more characters for Birthright. That seems worth the 40 bucks if you ask me. Revelations seems just too much for me, I'll pass that and see some gameplays on YT.
