Fire Emblem Fates

- 39.99 Retail Price... for 2 games.

- 19.99 DLC for full experience

Verdict: Why are we hyped for this game again?

Awakening had free DLC? I think you had to pay the levels, just like Fates. But I can't remember.

Awakening's DLC wasn't free.

Yeah, it had a few extra maps with new characters added to the game at a later time, as well as the 1st dlc map being free for a short time.

Fates is doing the same with the 1st dlc map.

We are hyped because How awesome Awakening was! And from the looks of it, Fates would have much more content to it = More Expensive. And they are fixing one of the main flaws of Awakening...... The Story!

If you liked Awakening, i don't see the reason of not buying Fates. That also means that you don't have to buy Fates in DAY 1. or buy all the Versions when they came out. You can buy one version next year, then the other in the year after that.

If you don't like Awakening, then Fates will probably not for you. Unless the fixed something where you really hated it in Awakening.

Did Awakening also have a costly DLC set as well...? That would make Fates about the same as Awakening. o:

As for the topic itself, I love FE, so I will be getting this def, haha. If what they say is true. There will be a lot of FE to be played xD

I don't know if the two version of the game differs a lot, if they have different stories and characters (it seems so), I don't think 20$ for the second game is over-prized. I definitely will buy one version, and later the second if it's worth the prize.

I'm not really sure if Fates will add extra maps later as well. I haven't looked up anything story-wise for this game. If they did though, that would be great xD

Or, if you're European, we'll wait until who-knows-when! XDDDDD. But I'll read the American reviews to find out.
