My most anticipated XBox One game seems to be shaping up to because quite a must have!

Very impressed with the visuals and the character's facial modeling especially. I was a bit cautious with my expectations of the game, since I was quite hyped for Alan Wake only to be let down by it because of it's rather bland gameplay. But I'm a sucker for time traveling storylines, and this one seems to have been very positively received from what I read in the previews so far.

It certainly looksgorgeous and is in fact among the best visuals I've seen so far on the current gen. I'm hoping the final build of the game won't have all that screen tearing issues we see in this preview. But knowing Remedy, that's probably wishful thinking. :(

Just watched the video again and really I'm glad this is turning out well. I didn't play Alan Wake so this will be an opportunity to redeem myself hehe.

Comments in this threads are mostly positive hope it can stay as is. Hope the reception is great.

The reason they went multiplat

Oh i forgot about that. Alan Wake did really good on PC.

I think it will do fine. Btw, how much do you think MS is expecting?

Based on how long this game has been in production d that it's getting a bundle i could see them hoping the game reaches QB level of sales by the end of 2016.

Those graphics...

Am I pushing my luck by saying it looks better than Uncharted 4? Because I think it looks better.

The graphics are really good. One of the best looking xb1 games.

I think the PC version is launching same day to help bolster numbers.

Rise of the Tomb Raider and Alan Wake found success on PC. So why not Quantum Break?

Like i said to TheSting Alan Wake did well on PC so should QB.

I figure it'll get delayed at least one more time yet.

And that the TV show won't be that great.

But still an okay game.

I doubt it at this time they can delay it even more, and MS needs a game for the first half of the year.

Anybody else thrown off by the cover system? It's like he just instantly pops out of cover. Like there's no animation for it yet. He's just SUDDENLY aiming out of nowhere.

It also seems super uncreative to just throw the word "time" in front of everything. Time mode, time vision, time dodge.

The gameplay video has peeked my interest. I'll probably get it on PC, after reading some reviews of course.

The gameplay reminds me of the Naughty Dog games, which is a good thing in my book as I liked The Last of Us and the Uncharted games.

I'm not quite sure about the automatically ducking behind objects thing, as I fear I might be accidentally ducking close to a corner I'm trying to run around and get stuck there for a second or two, but I'll have to wait and see if the automatisms work correctly or if they bug me (looking at you AC!).

Do you jump automatically when at a ledge like in The Legend of Zelda, or is there a button assigned to jump?

Looks decent, yet does anyone else get the feeling the main character is no taller than a hobbit..

Must be the camera angle, yet the scale feels off.

I'm not thrown off by the cover system quite yet. I'd have to try it myself to get a feel if it's too fast and makes the game too easy.

The naming might not be super creative, but at least you get an idea about what those skills do immediately.

Shawn Ashmore is supposed to be 1,80m, so it's probably the camera angles. The picture to the left is just a big door, in the middle his legs sort of blend in to the corpse, and in the picture to the right he's crouching.

I wonder if his whole body was scanned in or if they just scanned in the face?

Jesus the detail on the facial features in that gameplay and cutscenes, we've pretty much entered the era of getting to play AAA blockbuster movies now.

Really looks amazing if this footage is running on an X1 then that is a lovely bit of optimizing being done there to sexy up those visuals to the max.

Eh... I'm not feeling it at all, looks to me like one of those games that everybody hypes just because "OMG those graphics", it happens so many times that is embarrasing.

I was expecting to be impressed, but I'm getting the feeling that this is only another linear shooter with 50% CGI, 50% gameplay, very generic mechanics and the typical hollywood blockbuster story plenty of cliches and nonsenses that you forget instantly when you get out of the cinema.

I was glad when I heard that it was coming to PC for all the buzz is getting, but now that I look how the game is I'm just seeing a "omg GRAPHICS" hype situtation here. Time will tell.
