Well, I've been playing Titanfall for example on X1 and paying for Live, while my PC friends play it for free. And i have been able to sleep at night 😊 I'll gladly pay instead of gaming on PC. Many people buy PS4 or X1 to only play games like Fifa, NHL and COD and pay for online gaming for the convenience of consoles. Quantum Break doesn't even have multiplayer I think, so you don't necessarily need live to play on X1.
If Quantum Break sucks? Well it will hurt its sales and many will be disappointed, me included.
Not sure where should i start, i MIGHT be going to buy Xbox One Elite, Rare Replay, Killer Instinct, Gears of War & Quantum Break this April.
I do have gaming desktop(2014) and budget gaming laptop(late 2015) though.

That's a point you can make for most games/gamers. GTA/COD/SW battlefront/FIFA/minecraft are like the best selling games and you can play them on PC :o
Doesn't really matter to me. I have no intention of buying a PC capable of running those things. If however I had more income in the future, it might become an issue.
To OP: Why would I be worried? A regular Xbox owner like myself and my buddies do not have more than a regular laptop. High end PC gaming is not any bigger than console gaming and I guarantee you a vast majority of console owners do not have a gaming PC. So this does not affect me in any way shape or form.

I only said the sucking thing because it would be crazy if people had meltdowns over nothing... but thats just how it is anyway lol.
The thing is, you can understand why people paying to live might think twice. I mean If both platforms are microsoft, and multiplayer works on PC without live... why do you need it? It is a valid question as you see more and more crossover titles. You are happy with paying but people are right to point this out. Same for PS4 with Street Fighter 5. Of course, Sony doesn't publish its own games on PC so Microsoft has a might tighter rope to walk. Then again, we all know that they did try Live on PC, and gamers shut that shit down.
They are still X1 console exclusive. Most console gamers don't have gaming rigs, so the affect on sales is minimal at best. The average console gamer will see this as, "can't play this on PS4" and that is what will influence their decision should they favor these games.
The whole PC thing is nothing more than an excuse for a fanboy to use in list wars to discredit exclusives, even though they themselves do not have a rig powerful enough rig to actually run these games.

And that's the ps4 fanboy excuse to play it on of and not buy an Xbox. Once it's on pc its in any and territory who is willing to spend on a rig to stay clear of the Xbox. I have friends who use the ps4 purely for exclusives and of for multiplatform games. Sure quantum break isn't coming to ps4 but it's on multiple platforms making it multiplatform.
