Like I said in the sentence RIGHT after your quote..  NO.. It is a SMALL minority who play their PC on a TV 40" or more..     "many"
 is not the majority..

Why say it at all, then?

And, I think you misunderstand something, here. You're saying that PC gamers either play in offices and/or on small screens. The next question(s) are - What does a smaller screen have to do with the idea that most PC gamers aren't in offices (the purpose of my quote) and what does it matter that they do play on a smaller screen? Does that make the games less enjoyable?

Because.. A small minority of gamers who do it is NOT revelant to what I said..  PC Gaming on smaller monitors with keyboards and mouse is NOT the same exeperience as console gaming on a larger TV..  (Which I also said already.. I explained WHY i said what i did.. not sure you read my whole post, or just skimmed for things you disagreed with)..

WHo said anything about enjoyment? Like I said.. The experience of console gaming and PC are different.. Between how they are played, to where they are played..  and for some.. that DOES change the exerpeicne..   which is one of the reasons why there are are console gamers and PC gamers with not a HUGE amount of overlap..  especially in the YOUNGER crowd..

PC's usually in an office somewhere on a MUCH smaller screen..

No. Many PC gamers (the folks this is geared towards) don't play in an office, but, right in their rooms, near their console areas.

Also, I think the problem with this thread is people are mixing personal feelings with business. No, it shouldn't make any gamer "disappointed" that a title, they were getting on a specific platform, is now multiplatform. However, it does create less incentives to pick up an Xbox One (for folks on the fence) and the negative implications of that cannot be minimized.

Exactly. I have my rig set up in my own room, on my nice big table with my Sony Bravia hooked up for an extra screen and I think my 1920x1080 monitor is big enough for me. I honestly wish the mentality that some spew about PC gaming crippling or keeping you in some small office would knock it off.

Also agreed on the personal feelings part, I'm kinda seeing that from the non interested in Xbox/MS side of things but from another perspective, it's just good business for MS. They did after all hop onto the PC e3 event last year to tell their tale of how they are going to "re-commit" to PC gaming and this is clearly them showing some of those cards (though I'm not upgrading to 10 and hate how they lock those ports just to the one OS).

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I'm not sure about the opening line. It's like the OP is more concerned about getting Xbox fans to react badly to the thread rather than encourage a meaningful discussion. Shame really because a good discussion could be had with the Xbox games going to PC. Personally I don't think it's an issue. Console exclusives hold almost the same weight as full exclusives.

I mean I guess it's bad for list wars and all but let's think about it.

More options and more games for more gamers. Sounds like good news to me.

Plot twist: to the X1 owners that don't mind, would you still buy quantum break if it was coming out on Ps4 as a multiplat game?

I would buy it on console, and since the Xbone version comes with a free copy on PC, plus other perks like better controller and UI imho, Xbone would still be the no brainer.

LOL @ worst nightmare. Maybe you mean American Nightmare, the free game that comes with QB. What a stupid notion that people care if it comes to PC. Why has this never come up with SFV? Its funny.

I'd like to thank everyone in the thread for exemplifying that an obsession with a game's exclusive nature is dysfunctional and nonessential. Releasing a game on more platforms is an objective positive for all.

Thus, you're saying that Nintendo and Sony should aslo release their IPs on more than their owned platforms? Got it.

If it was at all positive, (whoops I meant possible lol typo) yes, thank you for understanding.

Can you provide an argument as to why having all games on all platforms would be objectively bad? Not to say they don't exist, I am sure there are some faults that one could find, but I think getting the majoirty of games to the majority of gamers is an objective victory.

Sure can, why buy separate systems if I can get their games any/everywhere? You want  these consoles to cease to exist?

Which is why it is an objective victory for the gamer. You can have all of your games on one system. Everybody gets to play all the games!

It isn't positive for all. I know a couple people that bought an xbox one for the exclusives only to find out they are coming to a platform they already owned. They essentially wasted money on buying something they didn't need.

If they announced this as a "pc and xbox one game" from the beginning thats different. They waited 2 months before its release to be like "oh yeah and PC".

I will be getting this for the xbox one because I don't really care for windows 10. However if this came out on windows 7 - that would be a different story.

Yes that is true. But this sounds like it was a result of mis-advertising (word?). Hence, I agree with the bolded

Someone raised a good point:
Why are Xbox Gamers paying for Live when its free on Windows and they are getting a lot of the same content. And usually PC game prices are cheaper on top of that.

Also, what if Quantum Break sucks?

I'm quite happy to learn about that! Quantum Break looks interesting and I don't have a Xbox One.
