Things are definately looking up for sega, but time will tell. I hope they don't become another Atari, but about a year ago I thought they would.

I think Sega still sucks as a developer and they haven't been a great developer for years now. I miss the old Sega.
On the other hand, they're turning into a decent publisher (for example, Sega didn't develop Condemned or The Club, they just published the titles).
@ devaition
At least they have the sense to put out quality titles.
@deviation
things have changed though, compared to the dark few years after DC
I see Sega finding the Wii and future partnerships with Nintendo to be far more fruitful than any of its other projects. I expect to see far more support aimed at the Wii.
skies of arcadia 2
shenmue 3
Jet set radio
phantasy star 5
If they make one of those i'll start to believe in sega once again.

Don't forget Panzer Dragoon.
SEGA has found its way out of the woods after the dark ages from 2002-2006. Hopefully they can continue to be successful.
they are doing better now, you guys need to figure that it wasn't easy to drop the hardware market for sega they were throwing everything they had in the dreamcast and even so no one cared
they have faced at least 2 restructuring plans after the fall of the dreamcast first to become a multi platform developer and stop bleeding money they achieved that in 03
but when things were starting to look bright in segas future the sammy merger ruined there structuring plan, lots of games were cancelled and a new plan was presented by sammy to make sega more of an arcade developer then console developer thats when the worst period for sega started as a developer from 03 to 06 segas games were very low budget and that and most of them japan oriented the ones that came out in the west were old projects that faced many problems during there development like PSU
from 07 til now sega released very good games, of course some bad ones to mostly sonic games and that disaster that was that golden compass crap (sold well lol ) but the good ones far out weight the bad ones
i thing the sega dark ages are over but they still have a long hill to climb to reach were they deserve and what to be
