This is a great deal but where does it leave MS for Christmas? They're pricing themselves out of the market.

Time to run some ads for it, its a big budget game and should a month before release have a ton of hype buildt up.

It ll help build sales now though, if they have too much stock in some shops.

Extra controller? 40$, Halo 5 40$, turtlebeach Headset 49$.

If you had to buy those seperately, the saveings are huge though.

I have a hard time imagineing deals getting sweeter than this for the Xbox One, so if your in the market for one, nows the time to bite.

Eh, the headset is that pos wired one, and we should always consider the xb1 bundle $300 base. So essentially for $50 we get a 2nd controller, and halo 5 (which isn't bad). I'd probably consider it if i wasn't allocating $350-400 to the PSVR.

Do you guys think MS is willing to go to 249$ for a standard bundle Xbox One this year? for the holidays? or will it stay at 299$ ?

They will at least have a console only sku for $249.99. My personal bet is that it will come with halo 5 at that price.

PSVR and NX will require MS to go desperate mode.

It would be a bad move. It's better to add value than reduce the price that low. Sales have declined steadily because of MS concentrating on pushing stock at Christmas; make it $250 and the year will be dead as far as sales are concerned. For me, $250 would be the beginning of the end.

I dont want to be the half glass empty guy, but seeing all these "throwing the house out the window" Xbox One deals right now in february i cant seem to shake out of my head how horrible the sales must be for them to be doing this.

If things will keep escalating, by the time holidays will come the Xbox One will be given with a box of tic tacs.

Releasing it on PC means anyone who games on PC that was thinking about an Xb one for this game will just get it on PC. But I can't imagine that was a very big number of people.

Remedy has a very vocal fanbase, but they are not a sales powerhouse. Max Payne did well, but ultimately it didn't turn into a huge IP. And Alan Wake did pretty well, but it's fan acclaim isn't backed up by large sales. Hopefully QB will do well, but I don't expect it to set the world on fire.

Has there been a developer that was most successful on PS when it was a multiplat developer that has made a highly successful transition to being console exclusive to Xbox?
