Is a (chocolate) cheese cake considered a cake or a pie? I've always been confused about that.

Anyways Apple Pies are great, so I vote for them if the above doesn't count.

Then again...there is this amazing chocolate pecan pie my mom can make...

We have the same confusion in German: We have Torte for cake and Kuchen for pie and cake.

But personally, I've never been confused. I eat them all, cake or pie.
