I have no idea if Amazon is tracked or not, but I think if a console is out of stock 9 days out of 10 there, chances are that the Wii U has stock problems in other shops, too.

I live in Japan and Wii U doesn't have stock problems. In a couple of shops they have one model sold out (Super Mario Maker Bundle), but the Premium stadalone was available.

Also, as far as I know Media Create tracks Amazon.jp, Famitsu doesn't. But Famitsu tracks some online stores that MC doesn't.

So happy to see Yakuza doing much better on PS4 than on PS3. I know Yakuza 6 will be exclusive to PS4, but I think things like this encourage Japanese developers to switch faster to next gen.

Splatoon is still doing well for a May 2015 game (and above Mario Maker). PS4 at 20~25k as a new ground as I expected and 3DS still leading this charts after 5 years is pretty amazing. 



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Not too bad for kiwami given what it is and that an hd collection of the first two games came out not too long ago.
