So people complain about the droughts but why is it so hard to release more games for Nintendo? They could easily remaster some games, espacially games who were never localized like Fatal frame 4. This game could be an entirley new game for the West and it would cost next to nothing porting it over to the Wii U, the Wii and Wii U have the same architecture after all.

Sony is pumping out one remaster after another to hold people over to Uncharted 4 which is a smart move. You would think Nintendo would do the same since its so easy to port Wii games to the Wii U but they dont.

I agree with the part about unlocalized games, but Nintendo will find it much easier to just port any of their Wii games onto the Nintendo eShop like they've been doing for a while now. And a lot of their bigger Wii games are already on the eShop, too.

Also, Twilight Princess HD is essentially a Wii remaster. Essentially.

Why do it on a system where the outlook won't improve much no matter what you do, when you could save it for your brand new device?

B: the Wii U has huge droughts

Probably due to the fact that the Wii U can play Wii games...

and that they can remaster them for the newer system if needed

I would buy fatal frame 4 in a heart beat. Aside from that not only would it help with game droughts it could also be a good way to test the waters for old series. I would love if eternal darkness, giest, baten kaitos, Pandora's tower and the last story all ended up in hd and on the Wii u
