Forums - General - Transgender Surgery Addict Spends $52K for that perfect female body

All I can see is

Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiggggggggggggg Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavid.

In defense of the surgeon, she was a pretty ugly man too, but still... he took $52k for doing that to a person, how does he sleep at night. (I'd be guessing with a wife who he has recommended get all her work done at another surgeon!)

It was considered a mental illness once upon a time, until social acceptance took over. These thoughts originate in the mind and are a deviation from the norm, it is abnormal, you can change anything you like externally but internally you will always be what you are born as.

And? how does a bunch of retardeds from the past being retardeds make something wrong? remember the witch hunts?

My point i was trying to make is nicely demonstrated.

I think she needs a better surgeon if she recognizes herself that this is still pretty far from perfection. First she needs to get lips that are closer to normal size. Other than that, nothing really sticks out that much, but there's definitely room for improvement.

I'd like to point out (to both sides) that conditions like this are a deviation from the norm, and words like 'healthy', 'ill', and 'sick' are just how we label them. Personally I don't see the point in using any of those words for the condition because what ultimately matters is the affected person's personal experience about it. The condition itself isn't much more than a deviation from the norm. I guess my point is that the labels used for these conditions are mostly results of the social environment instead of words that meaningfully describe the actual condition.

Perhaps a therapist would have been a better option, it is a condition called gender dysphoria.

Are you saying transgenders are psychologically sick? Ehhh...

See, sorry, but not anywhere in my honesty I could ever accept that person is a woman nor I can understand how s/he would feel like one.

I'm not saying to ban people from doing w/e they want with their bodies, but if instead of gloryfying it like the media does today, it is treated like the condition it is and encourage the individuals who suffer from it to go get psychological treatment, maybe these people would end up in better conditions than if they'd go through this "transition".

Embracing this transgender thing seems to me like we're all agreeing to play pretend with these people.

Ehh people with gender dysmorphia have high rate of suicidal tendencies and deaths because of bullying etc. Their transition is what usually saves them from that.

I didn't realise we were looking at an actor from Star Wars.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I think if She had spent the 52k hiring bodyguards it would have done a better job to make the bullying stop than what she did to her face.

Honestly went from "I'm not comfortable in my skin" to "I'm wearing your loved ones skin"

I could safely say that my kid nephew would scream if he saw that persons face 95% sure of it.

I don't know where bodyguards are so cheap, but I think I want one in the future if they're so affordable. Nah, make it two!
