Forums - Nintendo - After 30 years of being an avid Nintendo supporter, what do you feel that Nintendo owes you?

I never bought the Gameboy Camera and Printer simply due to them being advertised with the most obnoxious add ever. Ever. I would even leave stores if they had one of those demo-units around screaming "GAMEBOY CAMERA!" across the store every five seconds. Seriously, it still haunts me in my dreams.

So yeah, maybe, for putting me through that for a good year in 199x and because I stuck with them regardless, they do owe me!

I don't really care if the WiiU bites the dust, rather move on to something better. Me and Nintendo, we're still good.

There are things I would like Nintendo to do, but no, I do not see that they owe me anything..

They need to make money so if I buy a game, that is profits for them, and that's what matters.. Feeling that they owe me something won't do anything because they are international company, so it won't happen :p

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Games that I can enjoy at an age of 30+ years. But Nintendo games get more and more childish instead which has not always been the case.

When was this ever not the case?

They owe us nothing. For their own sake they need to make better choices to survive.

Every Nintendo console I had has satisfied me, only issue I have is lack of 3rd party games, but that doesn't matter too much when there is no law against owning two consoles lol. Only reason I would love to go back to one console is because I live in an apartment so hate having to have too many out taking up space lol.

On a final note, nothing wrong with bitter lemonade. Tastes better than mixed with sugar.

All I want from Nintendo is a goddam montage of a kid playing NES while his parents watch, growing up with Nintendo consoles, and finally playing the latest Nintendo console with his kid. That's it. That's all I want, Nintendo.

Goddammit.

It's not so much a matter of them "owing" us anything, it's simply that to remain relevant in the console space they need to do a better job of making gamers feel catered to and satisfied.

the OP is acting like he won't buy NX at launch regardless

I did not buy a Wii U at launch. Hated the Wii and could not even force myself to get any enjoyment out of it. Disliked Cursed Mountain, Only played Goldeneye on the Classic Controller, Skipped Mario all together and still can barely stomach now that I played it on the Wii U. Wii Sports and Wii sports resort were the only games that I truly enjoyed the motion control on. Skyward Sword was another, but the small world hubs and the need to fly to the heavens every hour I played was not appealing in the least.

The Gamecube I skipped more or less. Loved Rogue Squadron on it. Tony Hawk 3 was a blast as well, but was not gamecube exclusive. I really did not care to play the other games. Picked up Zelda as the system was dying and skipped Wind Waker until the Wii U.

So my Nintendo experience has been not too great over the past 15 years. I am finally really enjoying the Wii U despite the games. I will make sure the NX is not a dud on arrival like the Wii U was, before I make any decisions. But since it is Nintendo I will still expect a full game line up whether they give up and go third party or not.

so you havent liked them for the past 15 years, but yet you keep buying them? Whose fault is that?
