Forums - Nintendo - After 30 years of being an avid Nintendo supporter, what do you feel that Nintendo owes you?

Nothing, because I bought what I wanted to buy. How much have I spend on Nintendo software and hardware? A lot. Let's say that I've bought around 25 Nintendo games each gen since the N64. So, that'd be 5000€ on software in home consoles. 1000€ on home consoles. About 1000€ on handheld consoles. And more or less 4500€ on softare in handheld consoles. That'd be around... 11500€. Not bad.

That's the only thing they'd owe to me if all that games and consoles were shit lol.

Their fandom is dwindling, ofcourse they owe their fans a favor.

They don´t owe anybody anything nor does anybody owe Nintendo anything. If you are happy with you purchses that will instill confidence in their next product making you more likely to buy it. However if you feel unhappy you might switch to another product. It´s as simple as that.

Disclaimer in case you want to know my Nintendo History:
I had a launch N64 and over the course of its life Nintendo kept disappointing me with the software (loved OoT,Shadowman,Lylatwars,Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart), but I was quite a fankid defending them and preordered the gc anyway. As the gc was the 2nd disappointment in a row (I only liked ReMake,Re4) I gave up on Ninty and never looked back. No owes were given ^^

Yup...RO friggin rocked

Nintendo doesn't owe us anything as we don't owe Nintendo anything either. Just cause Nintendo gave us a few (or more) good years doesn't mean we have to stick by them to the end.

Absolutely nothing, and just because WiiU is gonna have a shorter life spam I'm not gonna forguet the great games they usually release, I personally have enjoyed my WiiU like a kid, i didnt bought it for third parties but only for exclusives, and that console has a ton of great exclusives, so no, they dont owe me nothing, I just hope they are smarter with the NX so it can have a bigger lifespam and keep Nintendo into the console business.

They've given me too much to owe me anything.

What I'd like, however, is another full year of Wii U support and "Metroid Prime 4" as the December 2017 release, following the the home console NX launch.

Just keep bringing the great games, Nintendo. I'll keep buying.

Neither side owes the other anything, but that said, Nintendo is far and away my favorite video game company. I've even enjoyed the Wii U, a lot of times more than its competitors.

As another 30 year old gamer...

Nintendo hasn't stopped making great games. I've just grown more bitter and critical. When I was younger, I bought games because I saw them in advertisements and Nintendo Power. I never thought, "ehhhh IGN gave this a 6, maybe I shouldn't bother with it." But now it's difficult to remain partial. I see reviews and criticisms everywhere on the internet and they're always in the back of my mind when I'm playing. Maybe I should just get off the internet? :D

Some hookers would be nice
