Forums - Nintendo - Third parties for Nintendo NX?

Honestly I think the most basic third partys are those who they need the most, if people know that they can get third party games on all consoles they'll have to chose by the first party lineup so EA and Activision. the latter one should be easy to convince to make CoD games for NX if it has a x86 infrastrucutre, the first one might be tough to get on board, but probably if they can do an easy port they'll jump on board to...

Ehhh... Idk. The Wii U gave off big red flags, I really can't be sure its going to be better for the NX. But we'll have to see.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

First rule of the NX club: no one talks about the NX

I expect the wii u approach to be taken during the first year(wii u had good third party support in 2013) then depending on how successful the games are on NX third parties will decide to continue making or not making games.

Japanese companies like Capcom, Square Enix, Level 5 and Namco-Bandai have been key this gen, and Nintendo needs them for their next system. Any company that is still interested in handheld will give the NX a try.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

No, the first rule about the NX club is "Everyone speculates about the NX"

I'd say EA are probably the most important. They have a very diverse range of popular games. Besides, not having FIFA would really hurt them in Europe.

Even the wii had fifa.

It would have been crazy not to bring FIFA to a system with a 100+ million users. Hell, with how easy and cheap is making new FIFAs, I'm amazed EA stopped with FIFA on the WiiU, even with their dumb boycott.

Exactly, getting FIFA back on Nintendo consoles is important IMO. At least if they want to compete in Europe anyway.

plus Fifa on the Wii played pretty good, my brother bought Fifa10 for it and it was a heck of fun playing with the Nunchuck

I can see it being like the Wii U's launch, where initially, they were gonna get really support from EA.

It's up to Nintendo's decisions on whether or not they can maintain the good relationships.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
