I played even more during college than before
Less mandatory waste of time = more free time
Finished it and the Masters with flying colors, like an (hikikomori) bawss.

I'm in the same boat. I am starting university next year and don't know how much time I will have to game. Fortunately for me (unfortunately I guess to others) I don't have a girlfriend or really any friends at all, so I don't really have to worr about devoting time for my social life.
Don't worry, University is overrated. It's not that hard, and you'll always have time to game. Not so much as in high school, because you'll have to work a lot, but, trust me, it'll harder when you find a job. I work around 5, 6 hours a day, so I have plenty of time.

Yes, this.. Aside from time, it is more tiring. Some days even if you have time to put in some gaming hours you just can't. That barely ever happened even in the most intense studying days. Drain from dealing with douchebags when working > drain from "working" (in the broadest sense)

I agree. Having to deal with all the pricks you encounter when you work is fucking tiresome. Honestly, I played more games on college than any stage of my life lol.
As others have said it mostly comes down to time management. A second factor really is how smart you are, do you need to work hard to achieve results or do you find the content easy. Uni for me back in the day actually probably increased my gaming time, partly because I had the advantage of being good at maths and learning computers and programming since I was 10. The first year or 2 of Uni are actually incredibly easy with class levels not much harder than high school.

You might not get to do it as much as you would like to, but you still should always spend time doing the things that you love. Just take a deep breath and write out a schedule, even though I know you're on call 24/7. Everyone should always spend time doing the things that you love and you'll be completely fine! I promise 😀 |
This, I'm in college now and my ps4 is on as I type this
it's all time management
Really? My gaming life only really started in Uni, it was like high school lite, with twice less lessons and twice less bs to memorize, and very little homework.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
