PS3 lifetime sales in Germany (as of June 2014, but it likely hasn't sold that much since then): 4.2 million
In other words, these PS4 numbers are really HOLY SHIT incredible. Like god dayum. It'll be ahead of the PS3's lifetime sales there by the end of this year.

They have no source, so it could be chartz (they also use it in the arcticle from today for the world wide market share).
Yeah, PS4 is doing much better than PS3, the Wii was the only home console that sold over a million in a year last gen as far as I know.

I got it from Gaf, and they say the source appears to be GFK, but I obviously can't confirm that myself.

i doubt it, this week on VGchartz the Wii U sold more, you see a lot of times the Wii U performing better in many and most weeks in germany

The gap was 180K in August 2014 and is 90K now. Forget the weekly charts... although December was probably better for Wii U.
XBO was on sale for 249€ at big retailers.
PS4 is a best, I'm actually surprised to see that vgchartz was undertracking it. Okay sales for the Wii U and the XB1.
